Welcome to the Wangala (Wahn-GAH-la) Primary School website and to our wonderful community.
Wangala Primary School students learn on the land of the Wadawurrung People, with our school taking our name from their long-lasting language. Meaning to ‘make good’ or ‘make right’, we proudly serve the local community and live into our values of caring, respectful, community minded, and future focused.
Our school is a vibrant learning community that has much to offer. Together we can help the young people in our community experience success, develop self-esteem, and participate actively in the life of the school and beyond.
We have high expectations of all our learners and ensure every student is provided with the opportunity to grow and reach their individual potential.
We invite you to peruse our website to gain a greater understanding about our school and invite you to contact us for further information, or to organise a tour. We also invite you to visit our social media spaces to see more of our exciting community.
Wangala Primary School acknowledges the Traditional Owners of the land that we learn on, the Wadawurrung people. We pay our respect to Elders past and present and extend that respect to all Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander peoples today.
